New Moon in Aries and a Full Moon in Libra is Here to Remind You of What You’re Truly Capable of
Welcome to Spring 2019. April is here, and while we are well into the first season of a brand new astrological year, and have been gifted with more hours of sunlight, the unsettling darkness of this past winter somehow still lingers over our heads like an eerie rain cloud. See, aside from the fact that winter is a season of decay, literally and figuratively, we were given no choice but to confront the harsh truths of Capricorn season, along with its stern planetary ruler Saturn. Long story short, this was a prelude of all that is amid permanent restructure, and re-definement in our lives. Now, fast forward to Pisces season, which felt like a total blur, given its indefinite Mercury retrograde…what did you learn about yourself and the people around you? This evasive season marks the ending of a cycle, so there’s always something we need to leave behind, but I know what you’re thinking. What about Aries season? Aren’t we supposed to spring forward, and finally start experiencing the vivid colors of our new beginnings?
Truth is, with the foggy energetic residue of Mercury conjunct Neptune, along with wounded Chiron’s close proximity to the sun during March’s full moon, the red-hot dynamic surge of Aries season was indeed down-graded…but not for long. April kicks off in full force with a new moon in the sign of the ram, but this won’t be your typical lunation as it will be setting a dominant tone in the upcoming months given its planetary influences. Remember, Aries is ruled by red-hot Mars, the planet of assertion, sex, and physical expression, and the new moon is a symbol of renewal, which means this is a perfect opportunity to break down your goals and turn them into intentions. However, this lunation will square Saturn, Pluto, and the South Node in Capricorn, which can, in turn, create some tension, but not in the way you think. In the end, this cluster of energy merely is here to remind you of what you’re truly capable of. Meaning, are you willing to step out of your comfort zone? What is stopping you from living your best life? This may undoubtedly be the beginning of a massive breakthrough, so stay present.
I also want to mention, three planets will be stationing retrograde this month: Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto. Take a deep breath and trust the process. Our minds are programmed to stress over the past, present, and future, but if you stay right here and now, living in the present day, you’ll become one with the flow. For many of you, Jupiter retrograde will feel like a blessing in disguise. After all, it is the planet of luck and abundance, so what’s the worst that could happen? I’m not going to lie, Jupiter’s biggest downfall is his tendency to do things in excess, and overindulge, but this doesn’t take away from the blessed opportunities headed your way. Saturn retrograde, on the other hand, will help us re-evaluate our previously-set structures, while Pluto retrograde brings us closer to our shadow side. Needless to say, expect the unexpected in April, and welcome the unknown. On that note, I leave you with one of my favorite quotes by Elizabeth Gilbert’s Eat Pray Love: “Ruin is a gift. Ruin is the road to transformation.”
April 5 - New Moon in Aries
April 10 - Jupiter Retrograde
April 17 - Mercury enters Aries
April 19 - Full Moon in Libra
April 20 - Sun enters Taurus
April 20 - Venus enters Aries
April 24 - Pluto Retrograde
April 29 - Saturn Retrograde
This is your solar revolution, Aries. Cheers to another blessed trip around the sun! Your birthday season is in full effect, but with Mercury the messenger sitting so close to dreamy Neptune, who tends to be somewhat unrealistic, the vibes have been a bit moody and dishonest, and well...nobody got time for that, Aries. However, not to worry, as the ambiguous fog will start to clear, and right around the new moon, which also happens to be in your sign! New moons bring new beginnings, but this lunation will be highly influenced by structured Saturn, and powerful Pluto, as they are hovering over your tenth house of career, reputation, and authority figures. For instance, where do you feel like your power is being taken away from you? FYI: The intentions you set now, could potentially come to fruition during the full moon in Aries in October 2019. Where have you been lacking confidence? Despite your fear of failing, there’s really nothing wrong with being vulnerable every now and then, Aries. In fact, your challenge for this lunation, if you choose to accept it, is to remember to stay humble, despite your controlling personality, and relentless desire for victory. Don’t be so hard on yourself, as there is something so much greater guiding you on your path to greatness. Lucky Jupiter will begin its retrograde cycle through your expansive ninth house of foreign lands, philosophy, and higher education on April 10th. Remember, Jupiter is the planet of abundance, expansion, and inspiration, so this retrograde cycle will merely elongate the process of self-discovery. What’s stopping you from spreading your wings and crossing the pond? Jupiter retrograde wants to expand your mental and spiritual horizons, but it’s going to require that you take a leap of faith in the process. Moreover, themes related to education, travel, and publishing (that began this past November) will likely resurface during this time. Take this time to digest all that you’ve experienced thus far.
Mercury, the messenger, joins the sun in your sign on April 17th, inspiring bold, direct, and impromptu ways of communicating. This will undoubtedly be the case for you, as your ruling planet Mars will be traveling through curious Gemini, making a sextile with Mercury in your sign. Write. Communicate. Mingle with your local neighborhood. The full moon in Libra on April 19th will illuminate your seventh house of partnerships, and one-on-one connects. BTW, this is the second full moon activating your relationship sector, as the first took place last month on the spring equinox. What have you been negotiating, or perhaps learning compromise with, since? Single Aries babes could decide to make things official, while others come face-to-face with important truths regarding their relationship. The sun shifts into sensual Taurus the following day, and its ruler Venus makes a show-stopping debut in your sign. This delicious surge of energy will spark joy and enhance your overall sense of pleasure. Although, with the sun sitting close to Uranus in Taurus, some of you might experience a eureka moment, or sudden epiphany regarding your finances, possessions, and self-worth. Don’t make any big moves just yet, as Saturn and Pluto will retrograde through your ambitious tenth house of career, and destiny in the world. Not to worry, Aries. These celestial bad boys are simply restructuring your perception of leadership while redefining your long-term goals.
Take it down a notch, Taurus. With red-hot Mars working in your favor all throughout March, along with Uranus’ electric shift, and seven-year venture through your sign, it’s safe to say you’re probably feeling a bit exhausted during this time. However, not to worry; your dreams, goals, and revolutionary inspirations aren’t going anywhere. On the contrary, March was just the beginning, and you will get another prelude of what’s to come, once the sun enters your sign later this month. That’s right, Taurus. Your solar return is just around the corner, but with the sun in Aries energizing your hazy 12th house of dreams, closure, spirituality, and behind-the-scenes work, your best bet is to take it easy for now. Granted, I know how much you love relaxing and living the good life, but with Uranus’ energy in the mix, you might be feeling restless, when all you need is a quaint spa day. Recharge, reflect and embrace your sweet solitude during this time. Trust me, you’re going to need all the energy you can get!
There will be a new moon in Aries on April 5th, illuminating this area of your chart, and in turn, reminding you to put your guard down, and trust the process. Some of you might obtain a sense of closure, or perhaps experience a surge of intuitive downloads. However, given that this lunation will be energetically tinted by Saturn, Pluto, and the South Node, themes related to stepping outside your comfort zone, as well as breaking through previously-set mentalities will be very prominent during this time. FYI: The intentions you set now, could potentially come to fruition during the full moon in Aries in October 2019…but it all starts with consistency. Nothing good comes easy, and what seems impossible now might very well give you more reason to prove yourself wrong in the long run. Although, one thing at a time, as Jupiter will begin its retrograde cycle through your secretive eighth house of intimacy and transformation on April 10th.
As you know, Jupiter is the planet of luck, expansion, and abundance, so this retrograde cycle will merely elongate the process of self-discovery. Meanwhile, make sure you take advantage of this four-month-long retrograde to reflect on your soulmate connections, emotional bonds, and financial debt. Are you giving as much as you’re getting? Do your sexual partners have your best interest at heart? What have you been putting energy into since November? With Jupiter Rx via this area of your chart, now is the time to work on your finances, and reflect on where you’ve been investing your time, energy, and spirit. Yeah, sex is cool, but is your partner recharging your energy, or just sucking the life out of you? Speaking of money, Mars is shaking up your second house of possessions, and self-worth, so feel free to jot down a list of your values, and personal attributes in the meantime. The red planet is naturally resourceful when in the sign of the twins, so creating a budget plan for yourself is highly suggested. The full moon in Libra on April 19th will illuminate your sixth house of health, and daily routine. BTW, this is the second full moon activating your day-to-day sector, as the first took place last month on the spring equinox. On that note, are you being mindful of your well being? Whether you’ve been hitting the gym, counting calories, or perhaps readorning your Venusian lifestyle, this lunation serves as a finale of sorts. Moreover, the sun shifts into your sign on April 20, greeting you with a delicious lift me up, and just in time for your birthday! Although, this doesn’t compare to the surge of inspiration you’ll get once the sun meets up with Uranus in your sign shortly after. Nevertheless, your perspective on life is amid permanent restructure, so don’t go rogue just yet, Taurus. Your philosophy is being tested, so stick to your guns, as per usual.
Cues Netflix’s Russian Doll’s eternal theme song, “Gotta get up, gotta get out, gotta get home before the morning comes…” With aggressive Mars igniting your sign until May 15th, there’s only one way to describe your current mentality, Gemini: You’re on fire. Period. Warrior Mars is the planet of assertion and burning passion, and while in your sign, the God of war is gifting you with enough energy to tackle your to-dos and your personal favorite… talk that talk! Trust me, I know March was beyond trippy, and it certainly didn’t help that rambunctious Mars was basically trapped in your subconscious 12th house of dreams, and behind-the-scenes work. However, luckily for you, those days are over. With the sun beaming over your 11th house of group collabos and friendship circles, you’re hella determined to put yourself out there, and mingle with groups of people who share your same interests. Who knows, some of you might even launch an exciting virtual project, or perhaps connect with a group of colleagues who share your same hopes and dreams. It’s Aries season, Gemini…the world is yours!
There will be a new moon in Aries on April 5th, illuminating this area of your chart, and in turn, reminding you to push through the barriers standing in the way of your revolutionary mindset. Remember, new moons are a representation of new beginnings. However, given that this lunation will be somewhat overshadowed by Saturn, Pluto, and the South Node, themes related to your core values, energetic exchanges, and sense of self-worth will be equally as prominent during this time. In other words, there are a few things that need to be redefined before you can actually get a head start. BTW, the intentions you set now could potentially come to fruition during the full moon in Aries in October 2019. The sky's the limit, Gemini.
Moreover, your ruling planet Mercury joins the sun in Aries, in your 11th house of friendship, teams, and tribes on April 17th. This is excellent news, as it will create a harmonious energy flow regarding your leadership qualities, and sense of assertion, amongst your extended community. In other words, don’t be afraid to take a stand during this time. The crowd will love you. Although, make sure you don’t make any critical commitments during this time, as there will be three planets station retrograde this month; one of them being Jupiter, who is asking that you reflect on your committed relationships, and sense of compromise. Let’s face it, Gemini: Everyone knows you have commitment issues, but it’s crucial that you take a moment to re-evaluate your one-on-one connections during this four-month-long retrograde. Are you happy? Is there something missing? In the end, the key is to meet halfway. The full moon in Libra on April 19th, will illuminate your fifth house of romance, authenticity, and creative expression. BTW, this is the second full moon activating your self-love sector, as the first took place last month on the spring equinox. On that note, some of you might learn something new about your current love interest or perhaps come to terms with something regarding your values, finances, and general self-worth. Also, given that the sun will be sitting close to electric Uranus, the news might very well come as a shock. On another note, the sun enters Taurus, and your dreamy 12th house of closure, secrets, and behind-the-scenes work, the following day. Time to take a much-needed breather, Gemini. Your dreams will likely be as vivid as ever during this time, as the sun will be coupled with Uranus, sparking intuitive lightning. However, make sure you fact-check before jumping to conclusions, Gemini.
It’s all up to you, Cancer! With the sun beaming over your ambitious tenth house of career, reputation, and destiny in the world, the majority of you have been entirely dedicated to your professional goals, and long-term endeavors in the past few weeks. Granted, March was a ride on the hot mess express, but for those of you feeling like you’re still lost in the Pisces waves, I have some good news: The fog is starting clear. Speaking of which, the new moon in assertive Aries on April 5th will illuminate your career sector, which could, in turn, reward you with an exciting work venture. New moons bring new beginnings, but with Saturn, Pluto, and the South Node hovering over your relationship sector, restructuring your sense of autonomy and individual truth, part of your new beginning will consist of you owning up to your life mission and leadership skills, despite your fear of not pleasing others. Let’s face it, Cancer: This is an ongoing issue for you, but how much is too much? It’s time you take a stand, and put yourself first. Period. FYI: The intentions you set now, could potentially come to fruition during the full moon in Aries in October 2019. However, don’t get too carried away with what might seem like the job of your dreams just yet. I hate to say this, but not everyone has your best interest at heart, my sweet Cancer… but you’ll know exactly what to do when the time is right.
Expansive Jupiter will begin its retrograde cycle through your health-conscious sixth house of day-to-day routine, and physical well being. This is an excellent time to become well acquainted with your physical and mental health, and perhaps tweak a few things in your current routine. Jupiter is here to help you make space in your everyday life, to work at your fullest potential. Your well being is a priority, and you have as many hours in a day as Beyonce, so no excuses! Some of you might even partner with a colleague and take your expertise to the next level. With Mercury, the messenger, sliding into your career sector on April 17th, conversations in the workplace will finally start to make sense. There are many things you need to review before you take that leap of faith. The full moon in Libra on April 19th will illuminate your fourth house of home, family, and soul foundation. Remember, you’re a moon child, so full moons naturally affect you more than most. Also, this is the second full moon igniting your cozy humble abode, as the first took place last month on the spring equinox. With that said, what’s changed with your living space and sense of security since? This lunation will serve as a culmination of sorts, and since the moon is a symbol of our mother, a prominent female figure will be top of mind during this time.
The sun enters Taurus, and your 11th house of friendship groups and extended community the following day, bringing out your inner humanitarian while connecting you with like-minded groups of individuals. It doesn’t hurt to network, you know. Besides, the sun will meet-up with electric Uranus shortly after, sparking a new virtual collaboration, or an exciting new friendship. It doesn’t end there. On April 20th, Venus slides into Aries and your tenth house of career and reputation in the world. One thing’s for sure: You will be as charming as ever in the public eye, and your superiors will likely recognize all of your consistent efforts. Well deserved, Cancer.
Last but not least, Saturn and Pluto will begin their shadowy retrograde through your partnership zone, as there are a few more things you need to redefine in your relationships. Truth is, the way you relate to others has been going through a massive restructure for quite some time now. Anyway, feel free to take a step back and observe the dynamic of both your personal, and professional relationships first hand. You might be the only thing standing in your way.
The possibilities are endless, Leo. With the sun beaming over your expansive ninth house of education, travel, and personal philosophy, your goals are larger than life itself, and you’re ready to tackle them head first! It doesn’t hurt to step out of your comfort zone every now and then, you know. Besides, you can’t help your stubborn nature, as you are a fixed sign and prefer to do things your way or the highway. The new moon in Aries, however, on April 5th, might very well be a gamechanger for you. When you think about the “bigger picture,” and your overall visions in this lifetime, what do they consist of? What inspires you? How do you want to spend the rest of your life?
Remember, new moons bring new beginnings, and the intentions you set now, could potentially come to fruition during the full moon in Aries in October 2019. This lunation won’t be your typical new moon as it will be energetically tinted by Saturn and Pluto, both of whom are kicking off a crucial retrograde cycle later this month, along with lucky Jupiter. Saturn and Pluto will be making a square to this new moon, as they are currently hovering over your sixth house of routine--perhaps putting a damper on your day-to-day. Lots on your mind these days, Leo? Adulting is never easy, but these celestial bad boys are hard at work restructuring your daily duties and general sense of responsibility while redefining your idea of mindfulness. Sometimes, what you thought mattered the most, actually means nothing at all. Who knows, some of you might be taking on way too many responsibilities at once, and perhaps being incredibly self-critical in the process. Something else I have to mention is, this area of your chart determines the way you are of service to the world, which means, some of you are either giving too much of yourself or not enough. Nevertheless, what seems like doomsday now, will be the exact opposite once this is through. In the meantime, don’t let your current burdens stifle your growth, or stop you from reaching for the stars. Set your intentions, and wait until at least the Fall season to take your leap of faith.
Jupiter will retrograde through your expressive fifth house of romance and creative expression, which could, in turn, serve as the muse you’ve so desperately been searching for. Coupled cubs: You might start to see your SO’s true colors, whether you’d like to or not. Anyhoo, make sure you have fun in the meantime. The full moon in Libra on April 19th, will illuminate your chatty third house of communication and thought process. This is the second full moon activating this area of your chart so there could be a meaningful conversation taking place during this time. On April 20th, the sun slides into Taurus and your tenth house of career, reputation, and destiny in the world. This could provide you with the light necessary to focus on your goals, and professional endeavors. Make sure you keep an open mind. The sun will meet up with electric Uranus shortly after; sparking a mini-revolution of sorts for you in the workplace. Stay focused on your mission, but expect the unexpected!en speaking your truth? Who knows, those who deserve it might actually hear you roar after all. Remember who you are, Leo.
Hiding out isn’t always a bad thing, Virgo. (Take it from me…I’m a Cancer!) With the sun beaming over your eighth house of sex, transformation, and shared resources, you’re experiencing either one of two things: You’re implementing the fiery Aries vibes into your sex life, or you’re coming face-to-face with repressed shadows and fears. Whatever the case may be, we all have Aries somewhere in our birth chart and life is cyclical. With the new moon illuminating this area of your chart on April 5th, you will be given a chance to re-evaluate your private unions, and shared commitments. FYI: The intentions you set now, could potentially come to fruition during the full moon in Aries in October 2019. I’m not going to lie to you. The dread of Saturn, Pluto, and the South Node hovering over the things that bring you the most joy can be mentally exhausting, but this cluster of malefic energy is pushing you to break through the barriers standing in the way of your inner happiness. Now, for some of you, this could have something to do with your one-on-one relationships, and perhaps whether or not your partner is acknowledging you in the bedroom. The rest of you might need to reflect on the things you’ve been putting your energy into as of late, whether it be a friendship, a job, or a fear that lingers over your head for no apparent reason. Bottom line is, the new moon is here to remind you of your inner warrior, and help you gather the courage necessary to fight for your happiness.
Lucky Jupiter will retrograde through your cozy fourth house of home, family, and emotional foundation for the next four months. This retrograde is here to help make space in your inner life, whether it’s because you decide to move elsewhere, or perhaps spend more time with your loved ones. In the meantime, reflect on the following: What’s changed regarding your emotional foundation and sense of security since November? The Greater Benefic is cleansing and clearing some emotional residue, so don’t be afraid to sit with your emotions, Virgo. The full moon in Libra will illuminate your second house of values, finances, and self-esteem on April 19th. This is no ordinary full moon, as it is the second on shaking up this area of your chart. Think back to the full moon this past March, concerning your values, spending habits, and money-making abilities. This lunation could very well be the sequel of your full moon in Libra journey, which means it could come with some important news, too! Let’s face it, who doesn’t want to make more money?
The sun slides into sensual Taurus, and your expansive ninth house of travel, education, and personal philosophy the following day, adding a burst of optimism to your entrepreneurial visions and general perspective on life. BTW, with Uranus already traveling through this area of your chart, you could be caught off guard with an exciting breakthrough, or an "aha" moment, once the sun meets up with the God of the skies. Truth is, you never know what you’re going to get with the rebellious Uranus. Remember, three planets will retrograde this month, so I don’t suggest you make any significant commitments, no matter how enticing it all might seem. One thing’s for sure, Virgo: This is the ending of one cycle, and the beginning of another, so let’s keep the momentum going. Besides, you always make it look effortless!
It takes two to tango, Libra! With the sun beaming over your seventh house of relationships, and committed partnerships, all throughout Aries season, you are as comfortable as ever, given that this is your sign’s natural element, and house of rulership. You’re probably making charming connections and partaking in diplomatic conversation. Thus, balance and compromise are key themes for you during this time, and since the energy of Aries is naturally assertive and impulsive, some of you might actually kick off an exciting new commitment during this time. Which reminds me, there will be a new moon in Aries on April 5th illuminating this area of your chart, and while new moons typically bring new beginnings, it is not suggested that you make any important decisions during this time. Why? The intentions you set now could potentially come to fruition during the full moon in Aries in October 2019. This lunation will be somewhat overshadowed by both Saturn and Pluto. Aside from the fact that they’re both stationing retrograde this month, this intimidating combo, along with the South Node, will be making a cameo during the new moon. For instance, do your committed partnerships align with your emotional foundation? Is your significant other and/or business partner supportive of your family and/or sense of security? You’re not the same person you once were, and you’re still shedding layers… and while this sounds like a total burden, it’s actually a beautiful thing. Truth is, your current partnerships, and relationship dynamics, are a reflection of your confidence, or lack thereof. So, don’t be afraid to push through the barriers holding you back from taking a stand. After all, what’s fair is fair, right?
Lucky Jupiter will retrograde through your third house of communication, siblings, and immediate environment for the next four months, and in turn, could bring you closer to your neighbors and relatives. Who knows, some of you might revisit a project via social media, or begin to allocate your ideas in writing. The full moon in your sign on April 19th, marks the second lunation in your sign, as the first took place last March during the spring solstice. All I’m going to tell you is this ain’t no regular full moon, and you will likely come face-to-face with a culmination of sorts that could’ve possibly started back on March 20th. Nevertheless, make sure you do what feels right at the end of the day.
The full moon will light up the night sky for you this month, and for the second time in a row, so make a wish. Then the sun will enter Taurus and your eighth house of sex, transformation, and shared resources the following day, energizing and revitalizing your intimacy sector. What’s theirs is yours in this area of your chart, so remember, sharing is caring. With the sun meeting up with electric Uranus shortly after, you could come across an unexpected opportunity to invest in something with your significant other, or perhaps experience a sudden shake-up in your intimate partnerships. You never know what you’re going to get with Uranus, so don’t bother trying to plan ahead. The universe has your back no matter what, Libra. So, make sure you enjoy the moment.
Put in the work, Scorpio! With the sun beaming over your sixth house of health and daily responsibilities all throughout Aries season, you’re a lot more focused on your routine, and physical well being than usual. Side note: March was a total blur, but I’ll have you know, the worst is officially over. However, given Mercury’s close proximity to Neptune during the first week or so of April, we probably won’t see the fog vanish as soon as we’d like. Good news, though: Aside from the fact that the sun is currently igniting your responsibility sector with a dose of cardinal fire, the new moon will also be activating this area of your chart on April 5th. New lifestyle change, new you? Let’s face it: It’s not that you’re incapable of revamping your habits with a healthy kick, or a detoxing juice cleanse... it’s more about what you consider “healthy” to begin with. Being mindful of your well being is essential to your success, Scorpio. Sometimes, it’s not about the way you think you should look, but about what you’re feeding your mind, body, and soul in the process. On that note, what makes you feel good about yourself? This new moon will bring new beginnings to your day-to-day, but with Saturn, Pluto, and the South Node lingering over your third house of communication there could be something that needs to be released related to your communication style and current mindset. For instance, despite your secretive and overly-guarded nature, there’s nothing wrong with asking for help, or being honest about the amount of work you have on your plate. The truth shall set you free, Scorpio.
There will be three planets stationing retrograde this month; one of them being lucky Jupiter through your second house of values, finances, and self-worth. With that said, what’s changed in regards to your spending habits and general self-esteem since last November? Have you been overspending, or making impulsive decisions with your finances? Jupiter retrograde is here to remind you of your hard work, and in turn, bring you closer to your higher self. For the record, this transit could spark a new beginning, related to the natural gifts you possess, along with the money you earn. But, try not to make any impulsive purchases, or financial commitments, within the next four months.
On April 19th there will be a full moon in Libra shaking up your 12th house of closure, dreams, and all things behind the scenes. This is the second full moon activating this area of your chart, which means you could experience a surrendering of sorts in the process. Speaking of lifestyle change, some of you could decide to quit drinking, smoking, and perhaps let go of a bad habit that’s been weighing you down. The rest of you, however, could finally come to terms with a harsh reality that’s been lingering over you like a dark cloud for quite some time. Acceptance is important, and so is forgiveness. Don’t be a prisoner. Instead, ask the universe to set you free from these emotional burdens holding you back from obtaining the happiness you deserve. The sun enters Taurus and your seventh house of partnerships the following day, energizing and revitalizing your one-on-one connections. As a fellow Scorpio rising, I have to admit, I hate asking for help, and I love keeping to myself, but in the end, it doesn’t matter how independent you are or how much you enjoy being the “lone wolf.” We all need someone. People are necessary, and shutting them out is never a good idea. The sun meets up with rebellious Uranus shortly after, sparking an unexpected attraction, or perhaps a shakeup in your current relationship. Nothing is a coincidence. If anything, this might serve as a prelude of what’s to come. Happy hunting.
Having the time of your life, Sagittarius? Lucky Jupiter is still traveling through your sign, and with the sun beaming over your fifth house of romance, fun, and creative expression, your playful sense of humor, and fiery sass is as prominent as ever during this time. But, don’t be fooled by the overly optimistic feels of your ruling planet Jupiter, as you too are in the midst of a powerful restructure, as well as an ending of an important life cycle. I’m not even trying to be a "Debbie Downer" here. On the contrary, I am simply bringing you back to earth, because let’s face it, Sag: Jupiter has you flying high, and well…no one likes the feeling of a rough comedown.
Now that I’ve officially called you out on your larger-than-life personality, there will be a powerful new moon in assertive Aries activating your fifth house of self-love, children, and creativity on April 5th. Just so you know, part of your “new moon, new me vibes” will consist of you owning up your childlike nature and general authenticity, whether it be creatively or romantically speaking. If you have children, this lunation could also serve as a beginning of sorts in your child’s life. However, with the heaviness of Saturn, Pluto, and the South Node hovering over your second house of values, income, and self-esteem you could suddenly begin to question your worth or perhaps your creative capabilities. For those of you in a romantic relationship, this lunation could be either one of two things: You’re finally comfortable enough to be completely and utterly yourself around your love interest, or you’re suddenly realizing that neither of you really have anything in common at all. It’s important to embrace the essence of Aries and remind yourself of what we’re truly capable of achieving. FYI: The intentions you set now, could potentially come to fruition during the full moon in Aries in October 2019. In the meantime, reflect on the following: Are you aware of the unique gifts you possess? Have you been sharing them with the rest of the world? Or perhaps with a romantic prospect? Your values are not the same as they used to be, and that’s how you know that this is only the beginning of your spiritual experience.
Your ruling planet Jupiter will retrograde through your sign for the next four months, and in turn, help you assimilate all of your blessings. What have you learned about yourself since November? What have you discovered? Have you been letting your free spirit wander? Jupiter retrograde will only elongate your path to self-discovery, so it can’t be that bad, right? Although, and I always tell you this, you need to be careful with overindulging and excessive behavior. You want it all, and you want it forever. It’s that simple.
The full moon on April 19th will illuminate your 11th house of friendship circles, and network collaborations. BTW, this is the second full moon in a row touching this area of your chart, so this should definitely not be taken lightly. In fact, some of you might have a sudden epiphany regarding one of your friends or teammates. On a brighter note, you could also see the fruits of your hard labor via a group venture or a virtual online space. Saturn and Pluto will retrograde through your second house of finances this summer, redefining your sense of values, while restructuring your money-making abilities, and self-esteem. You only live once, Sagittarius. Grow as much as you can, and reach for the stars at least once a day.
Hiding in your humble abode these days, Capricorn? With the sun beaming over your domestic fourth house of home and soul foundation, you’re naturally drawn to your solitude, and perhaps cocooning more often than usual during this time. Relax...take a load off. Besides, there’s nothing wrong with taking a break and hiding away from the world every now and then. TBH, some of you could be amid some powerful breakthroughs, regarding your family members, as well as your emotional foundation. *Trust me… I know these past couple of years have not been the easiest on you. In fact, you’re likely going through one of the most challenging cycles you’ve ever had to endure in this lifetime…but then again, more reason to get to the finish line, right? You are the wisest and the most determined. The world could certainly learn a thing or two from your innate perseverance, and ruthless ways…but hey, I’m just your hype woman…even though I sincerely mean every word.* Moreover, there will be a new moon illuminating this area of your chart on April 5th, and while the weight of Pluto, Saturn, and the South Node sitting over your sign is literally no joke, there’s always a silver lining. FYI: The intentions you set now, could potentially come to fruition during the full moon in Aries in October 2019, but part of your new beginning will consist of some deep reflection, as this lunation is here to ignite your inner warrior and fighting spirit. Oh, Capricorn… not that it was ever an option… but you can’t give up now. You’ve come this far, and this may sound cliche, but the universe will never give you more than you can handle. Period. BTW, I know you need to see to believe, but in case you haven’t noticed, your intuition has been eerily on point as of late, and you could thank lucky Jupiter for sprinkling his abundance over your spiritual 12th house of healing, closure, and subconscious realms. Jupiter will retrograde through this area of your chart for the next four months, and in turn, bring you closer to spirit. Jupiter is Pisces’ ancient ruler, and this area of your chart technically belongs to Pisces. In other words, this mystical transit could very well bring you closer to your higher self and divine transcendence. This area of your chart also aligns with surrender and forgiveness, so feel free to release any toxic emotion,
Use your words, Aquarius. With the sun beaming over your third house of communication, siblings, and immediate environment all throughout Aries season, you’ll be swirling with exciting ideas, and your social media will probably be lit AF, too. This area of your chart also rules transportation, which means some of you might be taking short-distance trips and staying busy on the go. For the record, I know the majority of you typically thrive via social interactions, but a good amount of you complex water bearers would much rather spend time in solitude to fully recharge your batteries. Given this past Mercury retrograde cycle, however, I say you take full advantage of this socially-inclined cycle. The new moon in Aries on April 5th will also be activating this area of your chart, but with the lingering dread of Saturn, Pluto, and the South Node hovering over your 12th house of dreams and secrets, there’s an overwhelming sense of sacrifice weighing over you. FYI: The intentions you set now, could potentially come to fruition during the full moon in Aries in October 2019…but part of your new beginning will consist of taking the initiative to speak your truth and perhaps own up to essential responsibilities--despite how tedious or mundane. In the meantime, reflect on the following: Have you been sacrificing more than you should? Have you been following your intuition? Who knows, some of you might even launch an exciting passion project via social media, writing, or alongside your immediate crew. Don’t be afraid to make noise, Aquarius.
Brainstorm and collaborate, but don’t make any life-changing decisions during this time, as three planets are stationing retrograde this month; one of them being Jupiter, and through your 11th house of friendship circles, and extended network. What have you discovered in regards to your sense of belonging and crew of friends since November? Jupiter retrograde is here to help you connect with like-minded groups, and perhaps connect with an ex-colleague and/or mentor. Fact is, something exciting is in the works for you, but you need to be mindful of your surroundings in the process. Don’t rush into anything without doing your due diligence, Aquarius.
On April 19th, there will be a full moon in Libra, and your expansive ninth house of opportunities, education, and faraway lands. BTW, this is the second full moon in Libra in a row, which means this won’t be your typical lunation. So, whether you’re traveling abroad, going back to school, or just taking a leap of faith, this full moon will bring you the answers you’ve been looking for. What is your purpose in this lifetime? The possibilities are endless. Don’t settle for anything less than what you deserve, Aquarius. The following day, the sun enters Taurus, and your domestic fourth house of home, family, and emotional foundation. This is an excellent time to recharge, and settle in your cozy humble abode. The sun will be linking up with your ruling planet Uranus on April 22nd, and this disruptive energy could come with a shocking wake-up call. This doesn’t mean it’s negative. If anything, the rebel planet is here to create space for your spirit to wander freely, and unapologetically. However, themes related to home, family, and your sense of security will be top of mind during this time. Who knows, maybe you wake up with the desire to rearrange your entire living space. Either way, it’s about to be a revolution.
You made it, my sweet Pisces. Your fish-out-of-the-water days are long gone, and while Mercury is still swimming close to the trippy realms of your elusive ruling planet Neptune, the worst is officially over. On that note, I have to ask…HOW DO YOU DO IT?!! Please, enlighten us. This past retrograde cycle was easily one of the worst, and to think you slippery guppies actually feel this seasick all year long. Again, I have no words, but I digress. April feels a whole lot better than the March weather you just endured, and with the sun beaming over your second house of income, values, and self-worth all throughout Aries season, you’re back to your old ways and focusing on the things that bring you the most pleasure.
The new moon on April 5th will activate this area of your chart, but with Saturn, Pluto, and the South Node hovering over your eleventh house of group circles, and extended network there’s something you need to let go of before you can move forward. *FYI: The intentions you set now could potentially come to fruition during the full moon in Aries in October 2019.* Yes, new moons typically occur with a fresh start, but this lunation will be somewhat overshadowed by our fave celestial villains, aka Saturn and Pluto, which means part of your new beginning will consist of you embracing your tsunami-like courage, and owning up to your self-worth. Truth is, you’ve sacrificed enough, and it’s time you fight for the things that bring you joy. Period. For the record, this could be something physical or emotional, but in the meantime, reflect on the following: Do your values align with your social standing? In what areas of your life do you lack confidence? Oh, Pisces. You’re so money, and you don’t even know it.
There will be three planets stationing retrograde this month; one of them being Jupiter (your ancient ruler) through your ambitious tenth house of authority figures, career, destiny, and reputation in the world. On that note, what’s changed in regards to your career, and sense of authority since November? With lucky Jupiter sitting larger-than-life over your career sector, some of you could suddenly realize that your current occupation no longer resonates with you. Hear me out, Pisces: This is amazing! Jupiter magnifies things while making space for opportunity to enter, and the fact that you’re outgrowing something, only means there’s something even better on the horizon. Don’t you see that? While Jupiter retrogrades through this area of your chart for the next four months, don’t hesitate to tweak your resume, and re-apply for your dream job. Don’t think about it twice, Pisces. JUST DO IT. Remember, retrogrades are for re-visiting and re-evaluating, and this is what the planet of luck is here for!
On April 19th, there will be a full moon in Libra, and your eighth house of sex, transformation, and shared resources. Mind you, this is the second full moon in Libra, as the first took place in March during the spring equinox. Meaning, this won’t be your typical lunation, and whatever you were going through then, regarding your intimate unions and psychological landscape, could very well resurface. This area of your chart also rules joint ventures, taxes, and financial debt, so anything along those lines. Moreover, the sun enters Taurus, and your third house of communication, siblings, and the local community the following day. This will certainly lighten up the mood a bit. Which reminds me…the sun will link up with Uranus shortly after, sparking an unexpected disruption in your social circle and/or immediate community. This area of your chart also rules transportation, so make sure you keep your car in good condition. Check your tires. Schedule maintenance. You know the drill. On another note, this rebellious streak could suddenly inspire you to launch something via social media, or perhaps get out there and network with your local neighborhood. Just do the damn thing!
